Threat signal

Threat Signal is a Canadian melodic death metal band from Hamilton, Ontario. Formed in 2003, it belongs to the groups signed by the label Agonia Records.

Formed in 2003 by Jon Howard and his cousin Rich with the help of guitarist Kyle McKnight, Threat Signal begins to write several tracks and sees the arrival in 2004 of Adam Wood as drummer. After having posted their song Rational Eyes which becomes number one of the visits of the site garageband.com, the group receives several rewards like those of the best guitars, best drum parts, best singer, best production, song of the day and week.

In August 2004, Kyle's guitar teacher Eric Papky joined the group as a bass player. The success on the site of Garage Band allows the group to be noticed by various labels while continuing to turn to the maximum on stage to make themselves known. In August 2005, Marco Bressette replaces Eric Papky on bass.

Threat Signal went to Los Angeles in September 2005 to record with Christian Olde Wolbers of Fear Factory.

Then comes the signature with the Nuclear Blast label in November 2005>. In early 2006, Adam Wood leaves the band and drummer George Parfitt succeeds him. In June 2006, the group plays Earthshaker Fest, alongside prestigious bands such as Scar Symmetry, Communic, and Arch Enemy.
