Timur Ildarovich Yunusov (Russian: Тимур Ильдарович Юнусов), known as Timati , is a Russian actor and rapper born on August 15, 1983 in Moscow, USSR.

His father is of Tatar origin and his mother is Russian-Jewish in origin. He also has a younger brother, Artyom. He lived for five years in Los Angeles and currently lives in Moscow. At the urging of his grandfather Yakov Chervomorsk, composer and conductor, Timur graduated from violin at the end of a four-year program. He attended the School of Advanced Studies in Economics, but dropped out in his third year. Later, he became a partner with the YPS team. The first single came out with Konaldo. He is also nicknamed Mr. Black Star .

In 2011, he recorded the single Welcome to St. Tropez with DJ Antoine and Kalenna Harper (a singer of the band Dirty Money).

He made himself known to the Russian community with Star Factory 4, but before he collaborated with Detsl. Member of the Banda group (Russian: Банда, literally "Gang"), with Aleksandr Breslavskiy, Anastacia Kochetkova and Ratmir Chichkov, and co-founder of VIP 77. Ex-owner of the B-Club disco, the Black October bar and the Ё- Life. He is also the CEO of his own label called Black Star Inc. In 2006, he was in the movie Heat produced by Fyodor Bondarchuk. In 2008, Timati sang with Fat Joe in a song, produced by Scott Storch, called Put U Take It, for which Nox and Raul also participated. Also in 2008, Timati participated in Mario Winans single, Forever. And in 2009, he participated in Snoop Dogg's single, Groove On. He worked with Flo-Rida on the title I Cry.
