Unk , by his real name Anthony Platt , born March 28, 1982 in Atlanta, Georgia, is an American rapper and disc jockey. He is best known for the hit single "Walk It Out" , from his first album Beat'n Down Yo Block! published in October 2006.

Platt was born on March 28, 1982 in Atlanta, Georgia, and launched his musical career in 1998. After meeting DJ Jelly and DJ Montay, he joined their entourage, the Southern Style DJs. At first, they practice their DJ skills at student balls or parties throughout Georgia. In 2000, Big Oomp signed Unk on his label, Big Oomp Records>. At this time, Unk already published several independent mixtapes in the regional scene.

In early 2006, he published a mixtape entitled Oomp Camp Street Heat . He later participated in the Dem Franchize Boyz album
