Urgehal

Urgehal Urgehal is a Norwegian black metal band from Hønefoss. In 2012, the singer, guitarist and founder of the band, Trondr Nefas, dies.

In its early days in 1992, Urgehal was made up of Trondr Nefas, pseudonym of Trond Bråthen, on vocals and guitar, Enzifer also known as Mr. Triggerhappy Lepermessiah on guitar and drums, and Chiron as well. known under the pseudonym of Ulv on bass and Aradia on keyboard. He left the group in 1995 followed two years later by Chiron. Uruz, pseudonym Jarle Byberg, joined the group in 1998 to play the drums which allows Enzifer to focus only on the guitar. Uruz left the group in 2008. In addition, Shregoth, pseudonym of Tomas Torgersbråten, is part of the band from 2003 to 2006 on bass. He is replaced by Mannevond, pseudonym Lloyd Hektoen, in 2007 as bassist training. Renton, pseudonym of Eirik Renton, is a session member from 2008 to 2010 on drums. Uruz joined the group again in 2010.

In 2007, the group celebrates its 15 years of existence with the release of the album The Eternal Eclipse - 15 Years of Satanic Black Metal . In October 2009, the group reveals the list of songs from its new album Ikonoklast>. It is published in November 2009 in Europe, and in January 2010 in the United States >>>. It is followed by an EP entitled Death Is Complete .
