Ace Hood , by his real name Antoine McColister , born May 11, 1988 in Port St. Lucie, Florida, is an American rapper. He is a DJ at Khaled We the Best Music Group and a former member of Def Jam Recordings and Cash Money Records. His song Top of the World , from his first album Gutta , is included in the simulation game NBA 2K10 , as well as Bugatti in Featuring with Future and Rick Ross who is present in NBA 2K16. It has a total of four albums, the last two being entitled Blood, Sweat and Tears and Trials and Tribulations .
McColister moves with his mother to Deerfield Beach near Miami. After being injured during a football match, rap becomes his obsession and he spends all his days rapping. At the age of 17, he recorded his first sound and did some street singles , for example, in 2006, MOE: Money Over Everything . The following year, in November, Ace meets DJ Khaled at local radio station Jamz. A few weeks later, DJ Khaled signs Ace on his label at the age of 19 and becomes the first artist of We The Best Music then gets a Def Jam distribution a few weeks later.
With the producer Cash Flow, and featuring Rick Ross and T-Pain, he recorded his first sounds during the year 2008 and won a great success on the radios of Florida. After a few mixtapes and appearances, he released his first album, Gutta , on November 18, 2008. Ace Hood appears on the title Out Here Grindin , alongside confirmed rappers such as Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, from the album We Global by DJ Khaled, which gives him finally access to a national notoriety. He becomes the protégé of DJ Khaled. In 2009, Ace Hood released her second album Ruthless, with guests such as Birdman, Rick Ross and Ludacris.
In 2011, Ace Hood released her third album "Blood, Sweat and Tears" . The first single is Hustle Hard. This piece becomes a national hit and rapper's best-selling single. An official remix on the album will be made with Rick Ross and Lil Wayne. Also in 2011, Hood wins a BET Award for his remix of the title Hustle Hard with DJ Khaled, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne>.
