Bomfunk MC's is a Finnish hip-hop band. Founded in 1998, its leader is Raymond Ebanks dubbed B.O. Dubb (formerly known as B.O.W.) and its main producer is Jaakko Salovaara (also known as "JS16").

In 1999, the band released their first album In Stereo. The singles Freestyler, Uprocking Beats and B-Boys and Flygirls who will come soon meet success in Finland. Beyond success in Germany and Denmark, he will be number one in Ireland, number two in the UK. Also in 2000, the band won the Best Nordic Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

In 2002, Bomfunk MC's released the album Burnin 'Sneakers which will be extracted Super Electric singles, Live Your Life with Max'C and Something Goin' On with Jessica Folcker. Although it worked well in Finland, this time the album will not meet the international success. In September 2002, DJ Gismo decides to leave the group. He will be quickly replaced by Riku Pentti (DJ) and Okke Kuomolainen (keyboards), who with the bassist Ville Makinen previously formed the group The Skillsters Plus One. After their arrival, a remix of Back to Back was released.
