The brothers Luis Humberto and Rafael Navejas Díaz form, in 1996, the project Los Cuatro fantásticos, in Fresnillo, Zacatecas>. Once settled in Santa Ana, California, USA, they formed Enjambre in 2001 with their cousin Romeo Navejas.
In 2004, they released their first studio album, Consuelo en domingo. He has Osamu Nishitani on guitar, and Nico Saavedra on drums. However, Nico and Osamu left the band because of some friction, and the two brothers Humberto and Navejas decided to reorganize the formation of the group by recruiting Julian Navejas on keyboards, Ángel Sánchez on drums, and Javier Mejía on guitar. Together, in 2008, they released a second studio album, titled El Segundo es felino, which propels their popularity in the United States and Mexico.
