Him is a sculpture in the bump of the Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan created in 2001. This statue in wax and polyester resin represents Adolf Hitler in gray suit, praying kneeling.
It was exhibited at the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum in Rotterdam in 2002, in Munich's Haus der Kunst in 2003, and in the former Warsaw Ghetto in 2012. The latter location was very controversial. This location creates a surprise effect, Hitler being back and needing to be bypassed to be recognizable>.
The work is sold for more than 17 million dollars (about 15 million euros), auctioned at Christie's on May 8, 2016>.
