Peter, Paul and Mary is an American folk music band from Greenwich Village, New York>. It is composed of Peter Yarrow, Noel "Paul" Stookey and Mary Travers. This musical trio, guitar and voice, was known in the years 1960-1970, in the line of Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie.
He made himself famous, notably performing songs by Bob Dylan, such as Blowin 'in the Wind, and The Deserter by Boris Vian. They are also the performers of Early Morning Rain, popularized in French by Joe Dassin under the title In the Morning Mist.
Mary Travers died on September 16, 2009 from leukemia at the age of 72. She had given her last concert with Peter and Paul on May 20, 2009 in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
