Quest Pistols Show , formerly Quest Pistols , is a Ukrainian pop band from Kiev.
Members begin in the ballet troupe Quest>. They give their first show on April 1, 2007. Isolda Tchetkha writes almost all the lyrics of the band, sometimes assisted by the young musician Nikolay Voronov, author of the title The Dragonfly of Love, for example. Their first album, v, is published the same year. It includes the song I'm tired is a cover of the Long and Lonesome Road title of the Dutch group Shocking Blue, published in 1969.
In 2008, the group won a MTV Europe Music Awards 2008 in the category of the best Ukrainian group. The same year, they record Mam for the soundtrack of the fictional radio channel Vladivostok FM of the video game Grand Theft Auto IV.
The group participates in 2011 in the "Muz-TV Award", in the categories "Best pop group" and "duo", but leaves empty-handed, just like in 2010. Daniil Matseichuk became a member of Quest Pistols in August 2011. In September, Konstantin Borovski leaves the group to focus on the image and development of websites. October 1, 2011 Quest Pistols wins the "Russian Music Competition" award in the "Creative of the Year" category on RU.TV.
