Set your goals

Set Your Goals is an American pop punk band, based in San Francisco, California>. Their music, like A Day to Remember or Four Year Strong, is based on a mix of pop punk and melodic hardcore, called easycore. Their name comes from the eponymous album of CIV>.

Formed in 2004, Set Your Goals releases its first eponymous EP on Straight on Records in May of the same year. The group embarks on its first tours with The Warriors and Make Move, while their EP attracts the interest of a number of labels. After nearly two years of touring, they signed with the label Eulogy Recordings and reissued the EP under the name of Reset in April 2005. Audelio Flores joined the group in April 2006, after playing in a band called Amity from Los Angeles>.

Their second album at Eulogy is their first studio album entitled Mutiny !, released in July 2006. In winter 2007, Dave Yoha leaves the band on good terms because of exhaustion. Daniel Coddaire returns for the tours before officially joining the group in 2008; Coddaire is the first guitarist of Set Your Goals.

In the spring of 2007, they played on the Anti-Flag Tour, alongside Alexisonfire and Big D and the Kids Table. Set Your Goals publishes an acoustic version of the song Echoes for the compilation Punk Goes Acoustic 2 released on the label Fearless Records in 2007. They also take the song Put Your Hood Up by Lil Jon for the compilation Punk Goes Crunk, published in April 2008. In the spring of 2008, they play Bamboozle Roadshow with Save the Day, Armor for Sleep, Valencia and Metro Station. Set Your Goals publishes The Fallen on Trig and MySpace.
