Thousand foot krutch

Thousand Foot Krutch , also abbreviated TFK , is a Canadian Christian and Nude metal rock band from Peterborough, Ontario. They currently have eight albums, as well as a live album, and three remix albums. Singer Trevor McNevan and drummer Steve Augustine are also members of a project called FM Static, and Joel formed The Drawing Room in 2009. Former members are Christian Harvey (drums, 1997-1999), Dave Smith (guitar , 1997-2002), Tim Baxter (bass, 1997-1999), Paul Pedasuik (bass, 1999), Geoff Laforet (drums, 2000-2002). Trevor McNevan is the only founding member of the group that is still part of it.

Trevor McNevan trains the group in Peterborough, Ontario, a city northeast of Toronto where he attended high school. Joel Bruyere was a childhood friend of McNevan. He later moved but kept in touch with him. Drummer Steve Augustine is from Hamilton, Ontario. They see the Toronto area as their home when they are not touring.

McNevan (singer, songwriter and band founder) chooses the group name based on the belief that "God is a crutch (krutch) that we can rely on, even though our problems are a stack of a thousand feet high or that God is the crutch that fills the void of a thousand feet between his perfect holiness and our guilty nature. "

Their first album, Shutterbug, was released by Trevor McNevan in 1995 as Oddball. The album includes 27 songs, one of which is rock, and the other half is hip-hop. McNevan records it at Barry Haggarty's studio in Peterborough. The song Lift It, appears for the first time and will be re-recorded for Thousand Foot Krutch's first album, That's What People Do, and later on the album Set It Off.
