Vader is a Polish death metal band from Olsztyn. Formed in 1983, the band is led by bassist Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek and guitarist Zbigniew "Vika" Wróblewski. Vader faced several training changes during his lifetime, with Wiwczarek being the only member of the original formation. Since 2011, the band includes Wiwczarek on guitar and vocals, guitarist Marek "Spider" Pająk, bassist Tomasz "Hal" and the Second World War.
According to Billboard magazine, in 2002, Vader has approximately 500,000 sold internationally.
