Hacride is a French technical and avant-garde death metal band from Poitiers.
The group was formed in 2001 in Poitiers, and practice at the time a technical death metal influenced by groups on the border of death metal such as Meshuggah and Strapping Young Lad. In 2003, the band recorded their first demo entitled Cyanide Echoes and produced by Matthieu Metzger. The band then consists of Samuel Bourreau (also a guitarist of Mistaken Element) on vocals, Adrien Grousset on guitar, Benoist Danneville (ex-Latrodectus) on bass and Olivier Laffond on drums. He soon joined the collective Klonosphere which includes Klone groups, Anthurus Archer, Mistaken Element, Trepalium and Grotesque Through Incoherence. This allows him to win the first parts of concerts, for Gojira and Loudblast in particular.
In 2005, the band appears on the compilation Revolution Calling of the Listenable Records label with the song The Daily Round . The same year, the band released their first album on the same label, Deviant Current Signals , recorded by Franck Hueso. Hacride then sets off on the roads of France and Switzerland during tours of Deviant Tour I and II . The band played among others at the VS Fest II at the Loco in Paris on May 28, 2006. The band's second album, Amoeba, was released in February 2007. This opus is recorded at L'Autre Studio, co-produced by the band and Frank Hueso, and its mastering is entrusted to Pierre Bouquet. It includes a piece mixing flamenco and metal, Zambra, which is none other than a cover of the group Ojos de Brujo, performed with musicians of this group. Hacride releases his third album in 2009, Lazarus . The album is recorded at Loko Studio in Normandy, with producers Franck Hueso and Marc Casanova.
After long sessions in studio, it is in April 2013 that the last opus of the band leaves, Back to Where You've Never Been , few long after revealing on YouTube the title Overcome , March 15 of the same year>. Franck Hueso, under the name Carpenter Brut, invites guitarist Adrien Glitter Grousset and drummer Florent Sparkles Marcadet to accompany him in his concerts and on the album Leather Teeth .
