In mourning

In Mourning is a progressive Swedish death metal band from Falun. Their fourth album, Afterglow, is released on May 20, 2016. Their first two albums are critically acclaimed.

During its existence, the group publishes many self-produced demos. His first album, Shrouded Divine , was released on January 2, 2008 by Aftermath Music>, and hailed by the entire specialized press >>> . The second album of the band, Monolith , is released on January 25, 2010 by the label Pulverized Records, on which they will publish two albums>.

On November 29, 2011, the band announces its signature on the Spinefarm Records label and a new album, The Weight of Oceans, for 2012>. On February 27, 2012, the group reveals the list of titles and the release date of the album for April 18, 2012>.

On January 16, 2014, the departure of the drummer Christian Netzell is announced after 14 years of service in the group because of musical differences. The same day, Mattias Bender replaces Netzell for their gig at Trondheim Metal Fest.

On March 26, 2014, In Mourning announced that Bender will be a member and a permanent drummer. On December 22, 2014, In Mourning announces the departure of Bender and his replacement by Daniel Liljekvist (Ex-Katatonia). On May 20, 2016, In Mourning releases its fourth Afterglow album at Agonia Records.
