Junior senior

Junior Senior was a pop music duo founded in Denmark in 1998 and separated on September 26, 2008. The duo was composed of Jesper "Junior" Mortensen (born February 7, 1977), the synthesizer, the guitar and vocals, and Jeppe "Senior" Laursen (born December 25, 1975) singing only. The group split on September 26, 2008 in good terms>.

Junior Senior is born in 1998, when Jesper Mortensen and Jeppe Laursen meet again after the disunity of their previous group, Ludo-X, who broke up in 1995. They signed a contract with the Danish label Crunchy Frog Records. . Their tour schedule was already busy between their various venues, from the United States to Japan, and of course to Denmark, they could not afford to add new dates.

On September 26th, 2008, they announce on their blog that they separate to continue solo careers each one of its side. Jesper Mortensen takes the name of I Scream Ice Cream, and signs the single Trust Tissue on the Kitsuné label. While Jeppe Laursen takes the name of Jeppe and begins his solo career, he signs on the label Echo Park Records.

The first album is released in 2003, and is called D-D-Don't Stop The Beat. The first single from the album Move Your Feet, was at the time one of the most broadcast titles on Danish radio and ranks at the top of the musical rankings of fifteen countries like the United States, the United States. Australia, France or the United Kingdom. The single is also featured on the soundtrack of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Move Your Feet is also present on the American version of the video game Dance Dance Revolution: DDR Extreme Dance on PlayStation 2. This title is often associated with its pixelated video clip. The title is also used in an advertisement for the HP Chromebook, the new Google PC, as well as as a soundtrack for French advertising for Liebig soups in 2017.

The next single, Rhythm Bandits, is ranked in the English and Australian charts, and is included in the 2004 FIFA game soundtrack.
