Marco Barrientos , (born June 20, 1963 (56 years old) in Mexico, Mexico) is an evangelical Christian rock singer. Also known as the Marco Barrientos Band, composed of Marco Barrientos (vocals), Gabriel Gallego (keyboard), Keith Banks (drums), Daniel Bustamante (bass), Matt Rospigliosi (chorus) and Danny Hinojosa (guitar). He lives in Dallas, United States. He won 4 Premios Arpa in 2013.
Marco graduated from a biblical college, the Universidad Bíblica de Cristo para las Naciones in 1985>. He begins international conferences. Since then, he has been in full-time ministry, starting as associate pastor of "Amistad Cristiana" in Mexico City. He remained there until 1998, the year of the founding of the "Amistad Cristiana Internacional" ministry and the music company "Aliento Producciones", of which he is president. He travels frequently to several countries for the "Aliento del Cielo" ("Breath of Heaven") conference throughout the world and, more recently, the ELAM, "School of Leaders and Arts of the Ministry".
In September 2004, he and his wife founded the Evangelical Christian Church "Centro Internacional Aliento" ("International Breath Center") in Dallas, USA.
Marco earned a practical associate degree in theology and developed a partnership with Bible College, Christ for the Nations Institute, where he is a Bible teacher. Marco is married to Carla and currently resides in Dallas, United States, with their two children, Daniela and Marco.
