Mike patton

Mike Patton , born January 27, 1968 in Eureka, California>, is a singer, songwriter, musician and American actor.

He is, or has been, the singer of several musical groups throughout his career. He is currently a member of Faith No More, Fantomas, Tomahawk and Dead Cross groups and was a member of Mr. Bungle. He has also collaborated with many artists on various musical projects. Patton is also co-owner and co-founder of the Ipecac label on which he and several of his collaborators release their albums. He began an acting career as a lead in Steve Balderson's film Firecracker .

Mike Patton trained Mr. Bungle at the age of seventeen with Trevor Dunn and Trey Spruance in 1985 when they are all high school students >>>. It is with this group that Patton records his first demos, The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny in 1986, and Bowel of Chiley the following year>. While playing a concert in North K of California, Faith No More members meet Mike Patton in 1988, and listen to one of his group's demos. Impressed, he offer to replace their singer, Chuck Mosley, with whom they have problems. They also make the same invitation to Chris Cornell. Patton hesitates before accepting, because he is already singer for Mr. Bungle and student at Humboldt State University, but he agrees, stating that he would be both a member of Faith No More and Mr. Bungle. That same year, Mr. Bungle released another demo, Goddammit I Love America! .
