Starset

Starset is an American rock band formed in 2013 in Columbus, Ohio by Dustin Bates, former member of Downplay>.

The group really saw the day in July 2013, when the online release of its first single Carnivore>. A second single, My Demons, was released in August 2013, and the band went on stage for the first time in Salem, Ohio, on November 27 of the same year. Starset releases his first studio album, Transmissions in the summer of 2014>. The group's second album, Vessels, is released on January 20, 2017> On September 28, 2018, the band releases a deluxe version of the album under the name Vessels 2.0, which includes new versions of the songs on the original album >. In August 2019, Starset publishes the single Manifest and announces the release of its third album, Divisions, which will be released on September 13th of the same year.

Starset has been compared to such bands as Linkin Park, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Shinedown, while the theme of his songs is focused primarily on the stars and science fiction. The band's music is linked to hard rock> and nu metal>.
