Supuration

Spherical Unit Provided is a death metal, death-doom and industrial metal band from Wallers, Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

The group was formed in 1990 by the brothers Ludovic and Fabrice Loez under the name Supuration>, in Wallers, in Nord-Pas-de-Calais>. They released their first album, The Cube, in 1992, then signed to the label PIAS France before changing their name in 1995 for Spherical Unit Provided >>>. In July 1995, the band records its second album, Anomaly, and plays in February 1996 with At the end of 1996, the group reaches the end of the contract with PIAS, and signs with the label Holy Records in January 1997. The group released the album Room Seven the same year, which is followed by Chronophobia in 1999, and the live album To Live Alone in 2001>. The band played in Europe with Anathema between December 1999 and January 2000, then in France with Gloomy Grim and Alpha Division in April. In 2002, the band releases the album Angelus, still with the label Holy Records >>>. In May 2002 they record the soundtrack of the short film Insanity, directed by Fabrice Lambot>, which is screened in several international festivals, and published on video in January 2003>. Between the end of 2002 and June 2003, they go on tour>.

Between 2003 and 2006, the group released fifteen CDs or DVDs composed of archives or unpublished lives of SuP or Supuration under the name Official Bootleg in limited edition (50 to 70 copies). The 16> volume is released in January 2011.

At the end of 2003, the group took over its name Supuration, and released the album Incubation accompanied by a DVD. The reissue is out in November 2004>. Spherical Unit Provided returned in November 2005 with the release of the album Imago. In 2008, the group returns with the album Hegemony.
